This week one job that sticks out in our minds is welding staunchions for a glass balcony in the city centre. One of the main problems in the city is parking so our tradesman had to carry all his tools from where he had parked up to the balcony to work. Things like this make life just that little bit more interesting!!!

Our Busy Time!

This time of year is quite busy for us as some business's close for the holiday season they usually have a few things to be fixed before they close. And our domestic clients think of last minute repairs to gate's, and verandah's or even the odd retaining wall before they have their families over.

Emergency Dinosaur Repairs

We offer an after hours emergency call out service, we had one today a boom gate at a hotel. But the most memorable was at the Adelaide Museum, they rang at 1.30 am and said a dinosaur (fake one) had broken while being moved and had to be fixed and in place at 9 am. It was repaired on time when the doors opened, and a very tired welder had to carry on and finish the jobs booked in for the day. Find us at:

Back to Work

We are back to work after an incredible heat wave in Australia, then after the heat heavy rain with the cool change. Both conditions not conducive with welding. The weather has improved and the boys are back at work. Find us at:

Welding and Weather Conditions

From the extreme heat yesterday to rain today, its hard to get any work done. Welding is incompatible to extreme heat because of the risk of fires. And today the rain makes it difficult as it is possible to get an electric shock. So Travis has had a clean up day today, collecting off cuts from different jobs and taking it to the recyclers. The Mobile Welder

This week although North America and Europe have been experiencing a cold snap, in Adelaide Australia we have had a scorching week. Today the temperature was 45 degrees Celsius in some areas, having reached over 40 degrees Celsius 4 days in a row. With the extreme heat it is unwise to weld or operate equipment unless absolutely necessary. After the weekend off Travis had the day off today as it was not worth the risk to stress out not only him but all our valuable equipment. A cool change is expected tonight so he is back to work tomorrow. Check us out at:
